Performance Systems Development selected as program implementer for UGI Save Smart Commercial Custom Rebate Program
ITHACA, NY – Feb. 20, 2020: Performance Systems Development (PSD), a leading energy efficiency solutions provider, was recently selected by UGI Utilities to deliver the UGI Save Smart Commercial Custom Rebate Program in Pennsylvania. PSD also manages the UGI Save Smart Midstream Commercial Rebates, Home Energy Upgrades, and New Homes gas programs.

UGI Save Smart Commercial Custom financial incentives are available to Pennsylvania UGI Gas customers with rate classes N, NT, DS or LFD. Retrofit and new construction projects are eligible to receive up to $100,000 per project for building improvements and gas-powered equipment upgrades.
Participating businesses can significantly reduce utility bills, lower building operating costs, and benefit from shorter payback periods that extend their operating budgets and improve profitability.
“UGI’s program will work with building owners, architects and engineering firms to incorporate lasting efficiency into building design and retrofit activities,” said Kathy Greely.
PSD employs a custom version of the company’s Compass software platform to coordinate program activity, collect and track program savings, and process customer incentives for all UGI Gas programs. “We’re eager to translate UGI’s commitment to energy efficiency and cost savings for their eligible commercial customers into innovative projects throughout Pennsylvania,” said Chris Hurwitz, Senior Program Manager at PSD.
