DOE Selects PSD to Increase Building Energy Code Compliance Rates

[intro_text]A team led by Performance Systems Development (PSD) has been selected by the Department of Energy, Building Technologies Office (BTO) as part of a $6M effort to investigate whether investing in education, training, and outreach programs can produce a significant change in residential building code compliance rates. Residential building energy codes set minimum efficiency requirements for newly constructed and renovated buildings, and BTO has a goal to reduce energy consumption across the residential building sector by at least 50%.
